Girijashankar Sundaresan (born 30th July, 1988) is an acclaimed Carnatic vocalist who has been practicing and performing for the last 20 years. A disciple of Chitravina Shri. N Narasimhan and Chitravina Shri. N Ravikiran, Girijashankar’s singing is marked by his gurus’ stamp of flawless pitch alignment, control over rhythm, attention to lyrics and an overall absorbing presentation. His performing career is on a solid course with repeated invitations from major organizations in India and elsewhere.

Girijashankar has composed music and sung for the legendary dancer, Dr. Vyjayantimala Bali in many projects such as - Nava Vida Rama Bhakti, Seetha Vislesha Trayam, Kaishika Puranam.
